Family History Resources

Ancestry and Find my Past are only accessible within the Library. You can access it through a library PC or your own device on the Library Wifi.  

These resources allow you to gain access to historical documents including passenger and convict lists, gazettes, census data, directories, military service records and birth, death and marriage certificates. 

Resources previously only available on CD-Rom that have now been added to Ancestry and Find My Past include:

  • Baillieres New South Wales Gazetteer and Road Guide 1870
  • Census of New South Wales 1828
  • Convicts to NSW 1788-1812
  • Early Australian Electoral Rolls Volume I
  • New South Wales - Landowners of New South Wales (Yewen's Directory 1900)
  • New South Wales Post Office Directory 1900 & 1904
  • Official Municipal Year Book and Shires Directory of New South Wales for 1907
