In some instances an you may need an application for the installation of a dividing fence.

Under the Dividing Fence Act 1991, Council and other government agencies are not required to contribute to the cost of a dividing fence. Residents are solely responsible for the full cost of erecting and maintaining a dividing fence.
Residents should check with their insurance agency where dividing fences are damaged by trees or storm events.
