The Hills Shire has over 300 parks and reserves in both urban and rural environments.

Excellent barbecue areas, children's playgrounds, bushland walking trails, beautiful formal gardens and wide-open spaces are perfect for social or formal events or to simply take time out and relax.

 

Please note: There will be times when Council will close or restrict access to its Parks and Reserves.

Closures may happen at short notice for any of the following reasons:

  • Bushfire, storm damage, flooding, wet weather
  • Catastrophic fire danger days
  • Hazard reduction burning
  • Maintenance works
  • Pest control activities

Please observe any closures that are in place.

 

Please note: BBQ and picnic areas cannot be booked or reserved and are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Hiring Information for Parks or Reserves

Our Parks and Reserves are free to the public for use. Gazebos, picnic tables, playgrounds and BBQ’s are shared and available on a first-come first-served basis and cannot be reserved.
