Study Rooms 1 & 2 will be unavailable from Saturday 25 April to Sunday 7 June 2026.
Customers may experience increased noise levels and fumes due to the building works. Regular programs have been relocated to the Sonya Phillips Room.

Castle Grand will be undergoing works on the external facade. Work is scheduled to commence Tuesday 26 May 2026 and will be undertaken between 7am to 5pm Monday - Saturday.
Castle Hill Library will remain operational, however foot access may be temporarily affected. Please take care when entering the library or accessing returns chutes.

All branches are closed on public holidays.

Car Parking / Getting to the Library

  • Car parking facilities are located underneath the library on Castle Street
  • The car park offers:
    • 3-hour parking
    • 30-minute express parking
  • Please note the car park is shared with the Pioneer Theatre and visitors to the residential apartments above the library. Please check the signage around the car park for more information
  • Castle Towers Shopping Centre is across the road and offers up to 3 hours parking for free. After three hours, rates apply.
  • Castle Hill Library is a short 5-minute walk from Castle Hill Station on the Sydney Metro train line.
