Monday to Friday: 9:30am - 8:00pm

Saturday: 9:30am - 5:00pm 

Sunday: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

All branches are closed on public holidays.


All branches of The Hills Shire Library Service will be closed on the Labour Day Public Holiday, Monday 7 October.
All branches will re-open on Tuesday 8 October.

  • Justice of the Peace Service
  • Cafe
    • Monday to Friday: 9.30am - 5pm
    • Saturday: 9:30am - 5pm
    • Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
  • Range of council services (Important Note: Payments can only be made using Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard, Cash or cheque not accepted)
  • CD, DVD, VHS and battery recycling

 

Car Parking / Getting to the Library

  • Car parking facilities are located underneath the library on Castle Street
  • The car park offers:
    • 3-hour parking
    • 30-minute express parking
  • Please note the car park is shared with the Pioneer Theatre and visitors to the residential apartments above the library. Please check the signage around the car park for more information
  • Castle Towers Shopping Centre is across the road and offers up to 3 hours parking for free. After three hours, rates apply.
  • Castle Hill Library is a short 5-minute walk from Castle Hill Station on the Sydney Metro train line.
