You will need a recent rates or instalment notice showing your eNotice Reference Number (see sample below):
- Click the "Login or Sign Up here" link below
- Select the "Sign Up" tab
- Enter your email and eNotice Reference Number into the sign up screen
- Check your email inbox for a validation email to verify your account
- Enter a password and mobile number

What are the Benefits of Receiving eNotices?
There is no charge for receiving this service and you will also be able to login into the portal anytime to view and download your notices without having to contact council.
How Do I Sign Up For eNotices?
Go to thehills.enotices.com.au
- Make sure you’re in the sign-up TAB
- Enter your email address
- Enter your enotice reference number that is found on the top right-hand corner of a Rate Notice that is in your name
What Happens Next?
- A confirmation link will be sent your email inbox from noreply@enotices.com.au to verify your account. This link will expire in 24 hours - if you haven’t received the link, please check your spam folder and try adding noreply@enotices.com.au to your trusted contacts list.
- Enter a password and mobile number
- Once you have registered for a eNotice Account, you no longer need to keep using an eNotice reference number to sign into the portal, you only need your email address and password.
How Do I Get a Copy Of My Rate Notice From The Portal?
In your Dashboard:
- Go to ‘Notices’
- Select ‘View Notices’
- All notices issued will be displayed.
How do I Update My Email Address?
- Login into your eNotices account
- From your dashboard, go to ‘Profile’ and click on ‘Profile Settings’
- Select Email Tab and enter your new email in the new email box and save.
How Can I Change My Password?
If you have forgotten your password, you can click ‘Forgot your Password’ link at the login screen.
Follow the prompts to receive an email with a password reset link.
To Update your password when your already logged into the portal:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Go to ‘Profile’
- Click on ‘Profile Settings’
- Select ‘Password Tab’
- Enter ‘Current Password’
- Then enter ‘New Password’ and ‘Confirm New Password’
- Click on ‘Update Password’.
Can I Have Additional Email Addresses Where My Notices Can Be Emailed?
Yes, you can have more than one email addresses.
To enable:
- On your Dashboard select ‘Emails’
- Click on ‘View Emails’
- In ‘Add Additional Email Box’ add your additional email address and select ‘Add Email’.
Please ensure you remove any email addresses not being used anymore, as all listed email addresses will be emailed your notice automatically.
Why Have I Received a Paper Notice When I Signed Up For eNotices
If you have changed your name, the system will automatically revert you back to paper notices.
To change this back to email, you can log into your account and check under ‘Accounts’ section to ensure your notices are set from ‘Post to Email’.
I No Longer Wish To Have My eNotices Emailed - How Do I Go Back To Paper Notices?
- Log into your eNotice portal account
- In your Dashboard go to ‘Accounts’ and then ‘View Accounts’ to see your account information
- Press/Select the red delete button.
I Can’t See My Other Properties In My eNotice Account?
In your Dashboard:
- Go to ‘Accounts’
- Click on ‘View Accounts’
- Click on ‘Add New Account’
- Using the ‘eNotice Reference Number’ from your Rate Notice add the Reference Number and click ‘Apply’.
I Rent My Property And Now I Want My Agent To Receive The Notice And To Pay The Rates
Please ask your Agent to advise council they are now the managing agent for your property, and they will be receiving the rate notice.
Your agent must complete this online form available here.
Electronic and postal delivery of the rate notice to you will be removed for the period the notice is registered for delivery to your agent.
If this changes, and you wish to resume receiving notices to your email please complete the complete the Update Rates Postal Address Online Form. When you are notified by Council that your address has been updated, you can then re-register your property by:
- Logging into your eNotice portal
- In the Dashboard go to ‘Accounts’
- Click on ‘Add Account
- Click on ‘Add new Account’
- Use the ‘eNotice Reference Number’ from your rate notice to add your account.
Can I See Other Correspondence in eNotices?
No, your eNotice account is a digital platform that allows you to receive, view and download rates notices electronically.
Can I See a Live Balance On My eNotice Account?
No - only rates notices are available on your dashboard.

I have paid my rates but the pay button is still there?
If a payment is made by any other payment method outside of eNotices (e.g.: direct debit, BPay, Council’s website, phone payment or through Australia Post) the pay button will not disappear until the next notice is produced.
