Pets from the Animal Shelters

These animals are kept at Hawkesbury Council's Companion Animal Shelter located at Mulgrave or Blue Mountains Animal Care Centre (BMACC) for collection by their owners. Unfortunately not all animals can be reunited with their owners or are wanted by them.

Many of these animals make excellent pets. You can save the life of a dog, puppy, cat or kitten by choosing to buy your pet from the one of our Animal Shelters.

Before deciding to make one of these animals a member of your family, please ensure that you have the time and capability to look after it. You should also have a fully fenced yard.

 Monday - Friday (9am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 4.30pm

Saturday & Sunday (8.30am - 12pm)

Public Holidays (8:30am - 12pm) - Closed Christmas Day and ANZAC Day.

Animal releases up to half-an-hour before closing.
