Household Battery Recycling

Batteries don’t belong in any household bin!

Just one battery can spark a fire.

If battery terminals touch each other or a metal object, they can spark and start a fire. Please remember to tape battery terminal ends before recycling at the drop off location.

Batteries also contain a range of metals including lead, mercury and lithium which are hazardous to the environment when disposed of incorrectly.

Household batteries include the following sizes: AAA, AA, C, D 6V and 9V. They can be any chemistry type (Alkaline, Super Heavy Duty, Lithium or Rechargeable).

Find a safe place to drop off your used batteries below.
