The Get Grubby Program is an award-winning sustainability curriculum now available to educators in The Hills Shire Council for FREE.
The Get Grubby Program is an online sustainability program designed for young children and families. It features Dirtgirl, Scrapboy, and Costa the Garden Gnome, guiding children through fun, hands-on learning about composting, worm farming, recycling, saving water, growing food, and exploring nature.
What does the Get Grubby Program include?
The Get Grubby Program includes videos, activity kits, educator guides, games, and reward-based content to inspire children to care for the environment both at school and at home.

How can I access the Get Grubby Program?
You can request access to the Get Grubby Program if you are an educator at a childcare centre, early learning centre, primary school, or homeschool educator.
To request access, please email resourcerecovery@thehills.nsw.gov.au or call 02 9843 0505. We will then provide you with your unique login details.

K-3 is the suggested age range. Get Grubby is also suitable for early learning and can be adapted for older ages too.
