The Hills Shire Council strives to maintain the standards of Council buildings and facilities.

The Hills Shire Council encourages residents to report any acts of vandalism to Council buildings and facilities such as:

  • roads
  • footpaths
  • bus shelters
  • community venues
  • parks
  • reserves
  • residential fencing


Report Vandalism to Council Property

Vandalism to Council property can be reported to the 24-hour number 02 9843 0555.

Council property includes:

  • council parks
  • council reserves
  • community buildings

Calls outside of business hours will go to the Council after hours emergency contact.

Residents who call the line will be asked to identify themselves and provide a contact number.

There will be specific questions about the incident such as:

  • a description of the incident
  • the location
  • if the offender has left
  • if it is currently occurring
  • if someone is needed to attend

Council has adopted a ‘No Tolerance’ approach to graffiti vandalism and makes every effort to remove graffiti as quickly as possible once reported.

 

Step 2.Removing Graffiti from Council Land

For graffiti on Council buildings, property or facilities including roads, footpaths, bus shelters, community venues, parks, reserves, residential fencing adjoining Council walkways or reserves:
