Hanwen Chinese Education and Culture specialises in teaching Mandarin Chinese in small class. Employing a dynamic teaching method, our school excels in getting students engaged in and passionate about learning Chinese and enabling them to use the language in their daily lives.

We believe that mastering proficiency in Chinese should include the following abilities:

1. Understanding and speaking Chinese fluently

2. Recognising a large number of Chinese characters and reading simple, short articles

3. Having some knowledge about the structure and features of Chinese characters

4. Writing a good amount of Chinese characters and typing the written Chinese using Pinyin on electronic devices.

5. Writing simple notes and articles in Chinese.

6. Learning about the Chinese culture

What makes our school different from many other Chinese-teaching organizations in Sydney?

3. We are the ONLY school that grades our students in detail based on their Chinese levels. Grading ensures each student studying on their own level so that they can achieve the best possible outcome.
