Request to Carry out Development Works Outside Standard Consent Hours

This application does not guarantee that works will be approved

A request for development outside of the approved consent hours will only be granted in exceptional or unforeseen circumstances

This application is not a way for developers and builders to ignore consent conditions. You must try to complete construction works within the approved hours.

If approval is granted it will be subject to conditions including but not limited to:

  • Notification of the adjoining residents for these works as well as providing the site manager’s contact details for the day of works
  • No approval will be given for early morning starts. No concrete pumps or concrete delivery truck movements are allowed before 7am
  • Concrete pour works must finish by no later than 6pm. Only light machinery or equipment with minimum noise is to be used for finishing off screeding and smoothing works for the slab
  • No works or noise causing machinery/activity will be allowed after 8pm

If a complaint is received for works contrary to any given conditions, Council reserves the right to take further regulatory action. This may include issuing of breach penalty notices.
