Parraweena Avenue Reserve playground is closed until a remediation project is complete. The off-leash dog park will also be closed for the duration of the works. Other options for off-leash dog parks can be found here.
Plans to remediate and renew Parraweena Avenue Reserve are in progress following the discovery of small fragments of bonded asbestos fibro in December 2022.
Based on specialist advice, a Landscape Concept Plan has now been developed to ensure the most effective remedial approach which will incorporate the renewal and upgrade of the entire reserve including all new facilities.

This reserve is also an unfenced dog off-leash facility between 4pm - 7pm every afternoon. Outside of these nominated hours, the reserve is available for all other recreational activities.
