The Thursday Book Club meets at The Wesley Centre, Uniting Church, at 32 Showground Road, Castle Hill. (The book club is secular with no religious affiliations).
There is convenient parking in the church grounds.
The meetings usually include around 25 people, almost all residing in the Hills Shire.
Lists of suggested titles are distributed each month.
The age demographic ranges from the late 60s to the early 90s, with the majority from single-person households.
The Thursday Book Club is inclusive of all people and there is no barrier to anyone attending.
For most members, the regular book club social interaction is the highlight of the meeting. This is why the December meeting is our Christmas Party, held off site at a nearby hotel.
