Planning Proposal: LEP amendments for 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest

A planning proposal with respect to land at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest, is currently on public exhibition until 3 November 2025.  

The planning proposal seeks to make the following amendments to The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019: 

• Replace the individual Gross Floor Area limitations for business premises, recreation facilities (indoor), restaurants or cafes and shops at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest under Schedule 1 with an overall Gross Floor Area control of 4,500m²; and
• Retain the total Gross Floor Area limitation of 1,000m² for shops at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest under Schedule 1.

A Gateway Determination for the planning proposal was issued on 3 October 2025. Delegation has been issued to Council as the Plan Making Authority under the Gateway Determination.

The planning proposal and supporting material are now on public exhibition and available for inspection on Hills Have Your Say.
