Kick-start your business success and make local connections at The Hills Shire Council’s Local Welcome event on Thursday, May 30.

This event is designed for those who have recently started a new local business, moved their business to The Hills district or have an existing business and are looking to connect with The Hills business community.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne is encouraging local business owners, entrepreneurs and start-ups to come along  to this exciting and FREE event.

“At Council we understand that the fast pace of working life leaves little time to discover and connect with key local figures and access useful resources that could make things a little easier,” Mayor Byrne said.

“The Local Welcome Event is designed to help with this.

“It is the perfect opportunity for entrepreneurs, start-ups and small business owners in The Hills to network with other like-minded individuals and be introduced to Council's Economic Development Team, who can provide business support, direction and vital connections with government departments and key stakeholders,”  Mayor Byrne added.

As well as a personal welcome from the Mayor, attendees will walk away with information about active networking groups in The Hills and what support is on offer for businesses -  to help better understand the opportunities available to them locally.
