Delegated Authority Archived Minutes and Agenda

 

Delegated Authority Meetings need a Resolution of Council. This delegate to the Mayor and General Manager those authorities that would normally rest with the Council. This is subject to the limitations under Section 377 of the Local Government Act.

A Resolution of Council may be passed during November. This allows for two or three Delegated Authority Meetings to occur over the Christmas/New Year period. During this time Council is in recess.
