Tenders for Aquatic Centre Redevelopment – Detailed Design Services – “Waves” War Memorial Swimming Centre, Baulkham Hills
The Hills Shire Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced companies to assist with Redevelopment of our Aquatic Centre into a new facility.
We are currently seeking the following:
- TENDER T19-20 Architectural Services
- TENDER T19-21 Project Management & Superintendency
- TENDER T19-22 Quantity Surveyor
Non-mandatory site inspections will be held on Tuesday 18 December 2018 at 10am and Thursday 20 December, 2018 at 2pm.

A hard copy of the tender is also available during office hours 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday at Council’s Customer Service Centre - 3 Columbia Court, Norwest, NSW 2153, for a non-refundable fee.
Applications will close on 15 Jan 2019 at 2pm. Late submissions will not be accepted.

What is a Tender, Expression of Interest (EOI) or Quote?
Tendering, quotations and EOI’s are formal processes whereby the Council seeks offers for the supply of goods or services. Offers received are evaluated and the offer providing the Council with the best value overall is selected. Value does not necessarily mean best price.
The Hills Shire Council has a transparent process in place to ensure that it’s purchasing activities results in the best value for our community.
The Hills Shire Council purchases in accordance with the Local Government Act, 1993 and its purchasing guideline.

All tenders and EOIs are advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald and in the Council's Development Applications & Public Notices page advertised in the local newspaper on Thursdays.
All open public tenders, EOI’s and quotations are also advertised and can be accessed and downloaded through the link below to Tenderlink, our external e-tendering portal.
Organisations may register their company details, download documents, and lodge submissions online through this portal free of charge.

What should I know before doing business with the Council?
The Statement of Business Ethics outlines the basis of doing business with the Council. By complying with this statement you should be able to advance your business objectives and interests with the Council fairly and ethically.
You should also be aware that not complying with the Councils ethical requirements could lead to the termination of contracts and loss of future works.
