Parraweena Reserve – Remediation Project

The Hills Shire Council will remediate and renew Parraweena Avenue Reserve, Baulkham Hills.

Based on the advice from an Environmental and Occupational Hygienist, a plan has been developed to the most effective remedial approach which will incorporate the renewal and upgrade of the entire reserve including all new facilities.

Associated works include:

  • A capping layer covering the contaminated area with a geotextile layer topped with soil to a depth of approximately 300mm.
  • A multi-purpose hard court including basketball ball and soccer
  • Replacement of the existing playground
  • Construction of new pathways drawing a loop around the Reserve.

The off-leash dog park will also be closed for the duration of the works. You may see our other off-leash dog park options here.

Working hours are as follows: 7am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. No works on Sunday.
