Business Help Desk

The Hills Shire Council provides free personalised support for business owners. Council will help start, run and grow businesses, as well as adapt and recover in times of crisis. Council’s Economic Development team will offer support on all things business.

This program is designed to start a conversation. It helps businesses navigate government requirements at local, state and federal levels. These include applying for grants, licences and permits, understanding government regulations and more.

Booking a meeting will provide access to expert local knowledge and strategic connections.

Areas of Discussion:

The session is tailored to the attending business. We will cover:

  • Any specific business challenges your business may currently be facing
  • Council and Government resources available to help you be successful
  • Information about conducting business in the Hills region.

Businesses are also provided with a range of economic/industry and demographic information. This will assist in starting a business, planning, growth strategies and marketing strategies.
