The Hills Shire Council is proposing to enter into Licence Agreements for occupation of part of the land known as Balcombe Heights Estate which is on land classified under the Local Government Act 1993 (“the Act”) as community land.
As the land on which the above is proposed, is classified as Community Land, in accordance with the provisions of Section 47 of the Local Government Act, interested parties are invited to make a submission with respect to the granting of the Licence Agreement.
The purpose of this report is to recommend that Council approve a new licence agreement for Building 10, Balcombe Heights Estate to continue to be used as a museum and provision of heritage services by Hills District Historical Society for 5 years, with an option for an additional 5 years.
