Important Changes to Cancellation/ Transfer Policy
As of 1st July 2020, we have updated the Cancellation & Transfer Policy for hire of Venue, Tennis & Sporting Facilities
Bookings will receive a full refund if at least 30 days’ notice is provided (via email) less an administration fee of $40 per cancellation request. If less than 30 days’ notice is provided and the event cannot be moved to another date or suitable venue, the hirer is liable for the full hire fee.
Transfer of bookings will only be permitted at Council’s discretion for an administration fee of $40 per transfer request. Please consider this when requesting any regular or casual bookings as no consideration for a “no charge” transfer will be made for date change once approved and processed.

Alcohol at Council Venues
Alcohol may be served at most venues but you must obtain an alcohol permit from Castle Hill Police Station. A copy of this permit must be provided to the Venues Department at least 2 weeks prior to your booking. Alcohol is not permitted at Beaumont Hills, Castle Glen, Village Green and Crestwood Community Centres.
The hirer will be required to provide us with a valid credit card for bond purposes. Charges will only apply if the conditions of hire have been breached. In addition, a security bond of $1000.00 paid by credit card will apply for high risk hirers.
In some cases where damage to the venue exceeds the $1000.00 bond, the hirer will be required to pay the remaining balance of repairing the damage.
