Ted Horwood Reserve

Ted Horwood Reserve is a large Sporting Complex. Field 1 is a single field use for soccer in the winter season and cricket in the summer season. The Cricket pitch is covered in the winter season. Fields 1-3 have lighting for training and field 4 for match play.

Fields 2 and 3 have a cricket pitch in the middle of each that is not covered, a kiosk and change rooms. Field 2 has a public toilet.

Two sets of synthetic cricket nets. One set features three lanes and is located adjacent to Field 1. The other set features two lanes and is located adjacent to Field 2
Picnic shelter
Field 4 is a premier size soccer field with kiosk, and change rooms
Field 5 is smaller and is used for Junior Soccer and Hockey
5 Tennis Courts
7 Netball Courts (court seven has a basketball ring at the southern end)
A full-sized basketball court (with a reversible basketball/netball tower)

Ted Horwood Reserve is a starting point for several walking tracks that explore the local bushland, creeks and waterfalls. Along with the surrounding reserves, it forms a large expanse of habitat that supports various wildlife including Echidnas and Wallabies. Council is continuing to improve the condition of the reserve’s bushland through weed and pest control activities.
