Caddies Creek Reserve playing fields features:

• four sporting fields
• two amenities buildings
• abundant parkland
• car parking for more than 120 cars
• a new playground and
• more than two kilometres of shared pedestrian/cycle paths
• This reserve features
• two football fields, which will be used as a cricket oval during summer
• a stand-alone football field and
• a baseball diamond

All fields will have their own associated amenities with provision for parking.

Works at Caddies Creek Reserve have incorporated major environmental initiatives. These include:

• water recycling and
• environmental restoration (the removal of weeds and planting of approximately 10,000 new native trees, shrubs and groundcover)

The 16 hectares of bushland throughout Caddies Creek Reserve provides scenic recreation and important wildlife habitat.

Council is continuing to improve the condition of the:

• endangered River Flat Eucalypt Forest and
• patches of the critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland

This is achieved through weed and pest control activities.
