Live it Up – Hills Youth Week 2018

Live It Up Youth Week 2018 Logo.jpg

Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express their ideas and views, act on issues that affect their lives and create and enjoy activities and events.

The Youth Week theme for 2018 is “Unity through Diversity.”  In the past few years, Council has organised a range of activities, in partnership with a number of local community-based organisations.  This year, we are celebrating it in The Hills by inviting our young people to participate in a range of activities and events.

Youth Week takes place from 13 April to 22 April.  This year’s program has plenty to offer from a free movie, skateboarding demonstration and competition, mindfulness workshops, coding and job skills, inclusive art exhibition, digital story-telling, futsal and basketball competition, free health assessments, swimming competition, rock climbing wall, fitness training and a family fun day.
