All beauty salons and skin penetration premises (including but not limited to: waxing, nail services, tattooing, semi-permanent makeup, piercing, and colonic lavage) within the Shire are required to be registered with Council and are routinely inspected to ensure compliance with the Public Health Act 2010 and Public Health Regulation 2022.
Please note: All hairdressing premises which also engage in any skin penetration procedures are required to be registered with Council.

Prior to registering your skin penetration business with Council you must have Development Consent to operate the business from your site. Development Consent may be obtained through a Development Application or a Complying Development Certificate.
