The 2019/2020 ClubGRANTS (Category 1) program applications are now CLOSED.

Applications were invited from local community based organisations for projects or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of The Hills community.

Projects qualifying for Category 1 funding may include community welfare and social services, community development, community health and employment assisting strategies.

The following clubs in The Hills participate in the program:

Community Grants

Council provides financial assistance through the Community Grants and Donations Program under Section 356 of the Local Government Act 1993. This program assists eligible charities, community and sporting organisations and individuals. Requests are received periodically and are forwarded for approval by Council subject to meeting all criteria as set out within the Community Grants and Donations Program Guidelines.

The 2018/19 Community Grants Program opened on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 and closed on Thursday, 28 February 2019.

The applications have been assessed under the new Community Grants and Donation Program Guidelines and matched with Council’s priorities and evaluated accordingly. Applications were also marked against the specific criteria for the program.
