The Hills Shire Council conducts a Community Grants program to encourage community participation, engagement and cohesion and improve the quality of people’s lives.
Funding is available to local community groups and services to provide innovative and sustainable community projects that address an identified need or a service gap.
All applications for a community grant are completed online through SmartyGrants – you only need to register once and if you have previously application via SmartyGrants you can use you existing password and login details.
Applications for COMMUNITY GRANTS will be called for annually.

The 2017-2018 ClubGRANTS (category 1) funding round closed on 19 May 2017.
Applications were invited from local community based organisations for projects or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local Hills community.
Projects qualifying for Category 1 funding may include community welfare and social services, community development, community health and employment assisting strategies.

Applications for a donation may be made throughout the year accompanied by required supporting documentation. Only one application per twelve month period will be considered and if successful, you will not be eligible to apply again that same year.
