The Hills Communities Conference 2017 - Change is coming – are you on track?

The Hills Communities Conference is an annual one-day event connecting and supporting communities across The Hills Shire.

This year's conference aimed to help organisations and services tackle complex and changing environment and create large-scale impact through meaningful and purposeful collaboration. This conference is designed to equip you with tools and resources to help your teams carry out effective collaboration that brings tangible and sustainable outcomes.

Conference Wrap-up and Next Steps:

This year’s conference reached a milestone as we saw a record number of participants that attended.  We also went back to where it all started three years ago when Council organised a Community Services Forum attended by 75 organisations  in August 2014 at Novotel Norwest.

There is a lot to celebrate - the encouragement and support from community leaders, workers, volunteers and residents, the high degree of collaboration that is sweeping through the community and new possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead.

Change is upon us.  We must prepare.  We must utilise the tools and systems to keep on track.

The conference has brought together speakers from the community, academia, business, health and education to share key lessons, insights and data to help navigate the complex and changing Hills environment.

Check out the conference program, presentations from the speakers and images from the day.
