White goods are not accepted as part of this event (this event is only available to residents of The Hills Shire - proof of residence required).

Computers and other Electronic Waste
Free Electronic Recycling Service: Drop-Zone at REMONDIS Seven Hills
A FREE recycling service (the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme) can be accessed by residents of The Hills Shire and small businesses. Electronic waste including televisions, computers and computer related products (regardless of their age or brand), can be dropped off at an e-waste Drop Zone collection point located throughout the Sydney region. A limit of 15 items per drop off applies.
Council is not a designated Drop-Zone.

Products accepted for free drop off include:
Televisions:
- All televisions, such as CRTs, Plasma, LCD and Projection televisions
Computers and computer products:
- Personal computers
- Laptops, notebooks, palmtops and tablets
- Computer monitors
- Parts for personal computers - for example internal hard drives, motherboards, cards, internal power supplies, CPUs DVD and CD drives
- Computer peripherals – for example, mouse, keyboards, joysticks, game pads, scanners and web cameras
- Computer modems
- Printers – for example ink-jet, dot matrix, laser printers and multi-functional devices

Recycling at Officeworks - Don't Bin It, Bring It
Officeworks provides free recycling facilities for customers for the following items:
- Computers and laptops
- Keyboards

- Ink and toner cartridges
- Mobile phones and accessories

National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme - A Guide for Householders
The National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme involves a combination of government regulation and industry action to take responsibility for the collection and recycling of waste televisions, computers, printers and computer products.
