Storm Damage Clean-up

Council thanks residents who assisted in the recent storms by cleaning up tree debris from public land and roadways - these will be collected from nature strips over the coming weeks. Trees that fall from private property onto the road or nature strip will also be collected (back to the property line) by Council.

The collection of debris that originated from private property is being managed via our Kerbside Cleanup Service, while smaller quantities can be placed in the waste service. Residents are welcome to book a Kerbside Cleanup Service here. For the Kerbside Cleanup Service, vegetation should be bundled and tied in 1.5m lengths and branches must be less than 10cm in diameter to enable waste collection teams to pick the items up.

If residents have large damaged trees on private property, it is recommended they contact their insurance company.
