Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne, will be joined by Carollers from Blackout Theatre Company at Arthur Whitling Park, next to the new Castle Hill Metro Station, on Monday December 9 from 7.30pm to flip the switch on The Hills town centre Christmas lights!
The Carollers will sing up a storm to get commuters and shoppers into the Christmas spirit, with a very special visit by Santa, who will meet and greet children.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne is encouraging residents to come along to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
“Christmas is a special time of the year to be shared with family and friends - a time when we can get together to spread goodwill and spend some well-deserved time with our loved ones.
“I hope you can visit Castle Hill Town Centre and see the glowing light installations and sparkling Christmas tree. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the festive season in such a wonderful setting – and it’s close to home and public transport.
“I’d like to also wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” Mayor Byrne added.
Some exciting selfie opportunities will be available next to a range of installations, and in front of the Christmas tree.
Christmas lights will be switched on every evening throughout December.
