Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne is encouraging residents to nominate a deserving community member for The Hills Shire Australia Day Honours Awards.
“Australia Day is a time for us to reflect on what makes us proud to be Australian and appreciate all of our nation’s strengths and qualities,” Mayor Byrne said.
“It’s also a time to pay tribute to those unsung heroes in our community who give generously of their time and strive to create a beautiful, welcoming and inclusive environment.
“We need your help to recognise and award the people and groups that you believe make The Hills Shire the best place to live, work, play, grow and raise a family,” Mayor Byrne added.
