STORYTIME ANYTIME – Mental Health Month

Loving relationships, learning to manage feelings, physical activity and healthy eating habits are all important for young children’s mental health. We’ve put together a collection of stories for you and your child to enjoy in Story Box Library as we focus on Mental Health Month this October. You’ll find stories that encourage building resilience, body positivity, celebrating diversity & uniqueness, loving relationships and a variety of emotions.

Be sure to check out the Activity Time link of each story for some great at home activities and fun ways to continue on your journey with your child’s positive mental health.

Use your library membership number to access the online books and resources from home.

Parents, not yet a member? Hills Residents who are over 18 can join online.

Information about preschool children’s mental health can be found at raisingchildren.net, the Australian parenting website.
