Visitor Information Centre
The Sydney Hills Visitor Interpretation Centre is located at ‘The Pines’ Roughley House in Dural. Providing both visitor services and historical interpretation of the Great North Road and Roughley House the Centre is a must see attraction in its own right.
The Sydney Hills is the perfect location for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of big city life. Located only 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD here you can feel like you’re a million miles away. The region is rich in history and natural beauty, blessed with everything from stunning parks and gardens to unique local food and wine venues. Spend time visiting some of the local nurseries many of which have their own Café or spend time following the Farm Gate Trail where you can purchase fresh produce straight from the farm gate.

Location: The Sydney Hills Visitor Interpretation Centre is located at 656a Old Northern Road, Dural, adjacent to the historic Roughley House.
Opening Hours: 10am – 3pm Monday to Friday (Please Note: Opening hours are subject to change without notice as the centre is staffed by Sydney Hills Volunteers).
