Proposed Right Turn Restriction Wrights Rd and Windsor Rd.jpg

In accordance with Section 115 of the Roads Act 1993, Council has resolved to investigate a proposal to provide a permanent right turn restriction on Wrights Road, Kellyville at the intersection of Windsor Road. The purpose of the restriction is to improve safety at the intersection.

If the restriction is approved, the alternate route for vehicles wishing to turn right from Wrights Road onto Windsor Road would be via Glenrowan Avenue and President Road.

The restriction would be removed once a new four way signalized intersection is constructed at this location in conjunction with ongoing development in the Balmoral Road Release Area on the western side of Windsor Road.

The community is invited to comment on the proposal before the matter is considered by Council’s Local Traffic Committee.

Submissions will be received up until 31 January, 2018.

Further information can be obtained by contacting Council’s Traffic Engineer, Martin Jia on 9843 0329.
