Helping Learner Drivers become Safer Drivers

These workshops are RMS (Roads & Maritime) funded and produced and run by The Hills Shire Council. The free two-hour workshop is for those who supervise learner drivers.

The workshop aims to better equip supervisors of young drivers. It also assists the Learner Driver to gain the 120 hours of logbook driving required under the Graduated Licensing Scheme.

The workshops provide practical advice about:

  • the role of the supervising driver
  • the importance of on-road driving experience and
  • how best to get this experience

If a learner driver has a variety of driving experiences as a learner driver they are less likely to crash when they first gain their license.

Bookings are Essential
