Throughout your journey in the Hills Hawkesbury and Riverlands region you will find places of heritage significance that provide a link to the past.

The region showcases a wealth of heritage sites including the world Heritage listed Great North Road built by convicts, Heritage Park - the site of a Government Farm established by Governor King in 1801 and historic houses including Roughley House, Bella Vista Farm and Rouse Hill House and Farm that are all wonderful examples of early settlement.

The Hills District Historical Society Museum is home to a wonderful collection of artefacts that showcase what early settlement of the Hills district was like.
