A pre-lodgement meeting is recommended before the lodgement of a Development Application (DA) for larger-scale or more complex developments.

About Formal Development Application Pre-Lodgement Meetings
Pre-lodgement meetings are recommended for larger-scale or more complex developments such as:
- Residential flat buildings
- Multi dwelling housing development
- Small lot housing (refer to Clause 4.1B, The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019)
- Affordable Rental Housing (not Secondary Dwellings)
- Seniors Living developments
- Child Care Centres
- New or extensions/alterations to commercial developments
- New or extensions/alterations to industrial buildings
- Designated development
- Telecommunications Facilities
- Larger scale rural activities
- Subdivision proposals such as:
- Subdivisions creating more than 10 lots within Growth Centre Precincts or Urban Release Areas
- Infill Subdivisions
- Small Lot Housing within Urban Release Areas (refer to Clause 4.1B of The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019)
- Rural Cluster Subdivisions
- Community Title Subdivisions within the E4 Environmental Living zone in North Kellyville
- Subdivisions relating to Concept State Significant Development Applications
- Subdivisions of constrained land (flood control lots, native vegetation, bushfire, landslip etc.)

For any subdivision proposals not noted above, please contact Council’s Duty Subdivision Officer to confirm whether a pre-lodgement is recommended.
