Council has received a proposal for the establishment of a community garden at Conie Avenue Reserve Baulkham Hills by the Rotary Club of The Hills-Kellyville Inc. Rotary has identified the benefit of a community garden in that location for both residents and for the neighbouring North West Disability Service.
It is Rotary’s intention to act as the auspicing body for the establishment of the garden, transitioning to a not-for-profit incorporated body in the longer term.
Council has resolved to enter into a licence agreement for five years with the Rotary Club of The Hills-Kellyville Inc for the establishment of a membership-based community garden within Conie Avenue Reserve, Baulkham Hills, in the location indicated in the site plan.
