Planning proposal for 6 Mccausland Place, Kellyville (4/2016/PLP)

Council has resolved to prepare a planning proposal with respect to land at 6 McCausland Place, Kellyville. The key amendments to The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2012 (LEP 2012) include:

  • To add a new clause in Schedule 1 – Additional Permitted Uses to permit ‘residential flat buildings’ with a maximum of 20 units;
  • Increase the maximum building height to 14 metres for the portion of land where residential flat buildings will be located; and
  • Apply a “base floor space ratio” of 1:1 and an “incentivised floor space ratio” of 1.6:1 where the residential flat building will be located.

The planning proposal will facilitate the development of a residential flat building comprising 20 dwellings on the south east corner of the site and 15 townhouses on the remainder of the site. 

Delegation for making of the LEP 2012 has been issued to Council under the Gateway Determination.
