Proposed Suburb of Balmoral Hills & Alteration to Suburb of Kellyville

Submissions Close 25 March 2016

The Hills Shire Council proposes a new suburb of ‘Balmoral Hills’ by altering the existing suburb of Kellyville.

The proposed suburb boundary commences from the intersection of Windsor Road and Old Windsor Roads, continuing southwards to meet up with the existing suburbs of Bella Vista & Baulkham Hills. The proposal does not affect the existing suburbs of Bella Vista or Baulkham Hills.

The name ‘Balmoral Hills’ is derived from the Local Environmental Plan referred commonly to as the Balmoral Road Release Area (BRRA) where land was rezoned from Rural to Residential in 2006. To ensure the new suburb area will work effectively, it is proposed to also include existing development immediately to the north and adjoining the BRRA.

Location of Exhibition: The proposal and associated documents are available for inspection at Council’s Customer Service Centre 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills (Monday to Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm) and on this page.

This exhibition period is now extended to Friday 25 March 2016.
