Proposed Road Renaming - Kumbatine Crescent

The Hills Shire Council proposes to rename part of an unformed section of Barry Road, Kellyville as “Kumbatine Crescent”. This unformed section of Barry Road commences from Stringer Road northwards to the future intersection and remainder of Kumbatine Crescent.

The name “Barry Road” has been allocated to this unformed section of road for many years and the road renaming is required to alleviate potential confusion arising from the road being offset from the existing section of Barry Road.

The road name “Kumbatine Crescent” was previously approved for use by the Geographical Names Board for the Kellyville North Release Area and this proposal is for the location of the road name only.

Feedback is sought from members of the community within 15 working days of the date of this notice (closing date 31 March 2015).
