Rutherford Avenue Village Green Reserve - Draft Landscape Master Plan

Council has allocated funding from its 2013/14 Capital Works Program to undertake design and investigation to facilitate the approval of a new masterplan for Rutherford Avenue Reserve, Pellizzer Boulevard, Kellyville.
Rutherford Avenue Reserve has an area of approximately 5.2 hectares and is proposed to include:
- A large village green space suitable for informal ball games
- Passive recreation facilities such as barbeques and picnic areas
- A major playground / play space with shade cover
- Provision for a paved youth friendly space that may include skating facilities (not necessarily a skate ramp)
- A shared pedestrian / cycling trail linking to the Council’s Trails Network
- An area for a water sensitive urban design facility such as bio-retention ponds and/or rain gardens
