Local Government Act 1993 S644B - On-Street Alcohol-Free Zones

The Hills Shire Council currently has seven Alcohol-Free Zones located on the road reserves at the following locations:

• Castle Hill Main Street and CBD areas
• Sandringham Drive, Carlingford
• Lloyds Avenue,Carlingford
• Belmore Street East, Oatlands
• Glanmire Road, Baulkham Hills
• Baulkham Hills Town Centre
• Caroline Chisholm Drive, Winston Hills

Under the Local Government Act, Council is required to investigate whether the zones are required for a further four year period.

Council also proposes to introduce a new Alcohol-Free Zone in Baulkham Hills adjacent to No. 19, 21-25 and 27 Yattenden Crescent, Baulkham Hills.
