As per Council’s exhibited Fees and Charges, effective from 1 July 2022, The Hills Shire Council is now ‘cashless’ and no longer accepts payments by cash or cheque at any of its facilities.

The Hills Shire Council currently has seven Alcohol-Free Zones located on the road reserves at the following locations:
Under the Local Government Act, Council is required to investigate whether the zones are required for a further four year period.
Council also proposes to introduce a new Alcohol-Free Zone in Baulkham Hills adjacent to No. 19, 21-25 and 27 Yattenden Crescent, Baulkham Hills.
