Council has allocated funding from its 2013/14 Capital Works Program to undertake design and investigation to facilitate the approval of a new sports complex at Balmoral Road Reserve, Balmoral Avenue, Kellyville.
The proposed sports complex is located within the Balmoral Road Release Area, (BRRA) a proposed urban area bounded by Old Windsor Road, Windsor Road and the Norwest Business Park.
In order to cater for the future population of BRRA and Council’s on-going needs, it has been determined that the Balmoral Road Complex will include:
Four multi-purpose fields or two cricket ovals including lighting, six tennis courts, a public amenities building including change rooms with a kiosk, storage and a meeting room, car parking for 199 cars and a playground. A shared pedestrian / cycling path will run north south and link into the local trails network.
