Amendments To The Contributions Plan No.16 – Box Hill North Precinct (FP218)

Submissions Close 26 August 2016

Contributions Plan No.16 Box Hill North Precinct (CP16) applies to land in Box Hill north of Old Pitt Town Road and came into force on 19 January 2016. It enables Council to require the payment of monetary contributions towards the provision of local infrastructure, as a condition of development consent.

The proposed amendment reduces the proportion of traffic works at the intersection at Terry Road and Old Pitt Town Road to be funded through the Contributions Plan from 100% to 30.5% with the balance of the works to be funded under Contributions Plan No.15 – Box Hill Precinct.

The proposed amendment will not change the extent of local infrastructure to be provided in the Box Hill North Precinct, including that planned for the intersection of Terry Road and Old Pitt Town Road given that all necessary local infrastructure is covered by a Voluntary Planning Agreement. The proposed amendment will marginally reduce the S94 contribution rate payable for new development under the Plan.
