Kellyville Park – Draft Landscape Master Plan

Submissions Close 16 May 2014

Council has allocated funding from its 2013/14 Capital Works Program to undertake design and investigation to facilitate the approval of a new masterplan for Kellyville Park, Memorial Avenue, Kellyville.

Kellyville Park is located within the Balmoral Road Release Area, (BRRA) a proposed urban area bounded by Old Windsor Road, Windsor Road and Norwest Business Park. Although the park is an existing park, a masterplan is required to address the new access arrangement into the park when the existing access from Memorial Avenue is removed. This will occur when Memorial Avenue (an extension of Sunnyholt Road) is upgraded by the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

The masterplan is also an opportunity to address the planning of the park to cater for future community requirements.

The proposed future park configuration will include a new access road, a new centralised parking area, a new amenities building and new multi-purpose playing fields at the Memorial Avenue end of the park. The existing multi-purpose fields to the west of the park will be extended to encompass the existing western access road. The baseball fields and baseball car parking area will remain as they are. Works will be staged as funds become available.

Please contact Council’s Landscape Projects Officer, Ron Pidcock, by email or by mail to P.O. Box 7064, Baulkham Hills BC 2153 by 4pm on Friday 16 May 2014 should you require any further information or wish to comment on this proposal.
