Council resolved at its meeting of 25 February 2014 to adopt and finalise a planning proposal to rezone 488-494 Old Northern Road, Dural from RU6 - Transition to part B2 - Local Centre and part R3 - Medium Density Residential and introduce a floor space ratio of 0.75:1 over the part of the site to be zoned B2 - Local Centre.
In order to support the development of the site for commercial purposes, draft amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 Part B Section 6 – Business are now on exhibition.
The draft development controls seek to guide built form and public domain outcomes on the site to ensure future development contributes to the appearance, amenity and accessibility of Round Corner Town Centre. The draft controls also address future traffic and public transport infrastructure, servicing and environmental matters.
