Arnold Avenue Sports Complex Reserve – Draft Landscape Master Plan

Submissions Close 12 March 2014

Council has allocated funding from its 2013/14 Capital Works Program to undertake design and investigation to facilitate the construction of a new sports complex at Arnold Avenue Reserve, Kellyville.

The proposed Sports Complex is located within the Balmoral Road Release Area, an urban area bounded by Old Windsor Road, Windsor Road and the Norwest Business Park.

In order to cater for the future population of the Balmoral Road Release Area and the communities on-going needs it is intended that the Arnold Avenue Sports Complex will include:

One Multi-purpose Field / Cricket Oval including lighting for training, Informal Ball Playing Area, Public amenities / Change rooms with Kiosk, Storage and a Meeting room, Car Parking for 110 Cars, a Playground and Youth Space, a Shared Pedestrian / Cycling Trail that links around the Reserve, Barbeques and Picnic area as well as environmental controls including a Bioswale System and a Water Reuse System.

Consideration is also being given to locating a Satellite Depot for Council’s Maintenance and Operational Activities at the South Western corner of the Reserve.

The proposed Landscape Master Plan of the New Sports Complex for Arnold Avenue Reserve can be viewed in the attachment below and at Councils administration building located on the ground floor at 3 Columbia Court, Baulkham Hills from the hours of 8.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
