Make Sense of The 2011 Census - Get the sydney hills data first
 The Census was conducted in Australia on Tuesday 9 August 2011 and now that people are starting to get back to work after the holidays, we have received a few phone calls recently asking if we have the latest information and statstistics. So I thought it would be a good time to provide an update on the progress of the next release of the Census Information.
The ABS have the incredible task of collecting, capturing, coding and validating the data for over 11 million Census forms.
With that in mind we will be receiving The 2011 Hills LGA Census data collection in a number of stages over the coming year.

 How does The Hills Shire compare to Sydney?
The bar graph shows that there was a larger proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications) and a smaller proportion of people with no formal qualifications. Overall, 51.5% of the population held educational qualifications, and 39.4% had no qualifications, compared with 43.0% and 42.8% respectively for the Sydney Statistical Division.

Should there be a University at Norwest?

You can assist in this endeavour by filling in a questionnaire that seeks to determine the need and capacity for any education facility and the degree qualifications it should provide.
